Girls bathroom reveal
.. Thank you Vintage Tub and Bath for sponsoring this post! The opinions expressed in this post are my own.
I grew up in the house my Mother grew up in. We all shared one bathroom. I always dreamed of having my own space with a vintage claw foot tub like you see on the princess movies. That was my inspiration for our girls’ bathroom! Let’s start with a good before of the space!
We gutted the space down to the studs. Since the existing space had a walk in shower, I knew to stay on budget, I needed to order a stand alone tub. I found an amazing set from Vintage Tub and Bath! It came with the piping, tub + shower faucet, and the acrylic claw foot tub! You can view their tub sets HERE. You cannot beat their pricing too! Since the bathroom is on the second floor I went with an acrylic tub because of weight.
We chose the Bristol 62” Acrylic Slipper Tub and Shower Package. You can see it’s a perfect fit for this small space. I love the look and functionality of this tub. It’s so easy to bathe the kids with the hand held sprayer!
I know some of you will ask about the shower curtain situation. We have a shower liner that goes all the way around, protecting the back wall. I think we have a few years before our girls start using the shower feature. I am just thankful I found this set because I was so afraid they wouldn’t get to have the shower feature with the existing layout. We didn’t have the budget to reconfigure the space. We couldn’t be happier how this turned out.
How cute is their vintage vanity?!? Since this space is small, I wanted to use this vintage piece for a future makeup vanity. I love mixing old pieces with new. To see more of our home, visit our Instagram page HERE. What would your dream bathroom space include?
